Introducing the Element Optics Pro Staff Program

Our Family is about to get bigger Companies are not judged solely by the products & services they provide, but also by the attitudes, ethics, sportsmanship & professionalism of the users who enjoy them. The same way that certain car manufacturers are sometimes (wrongly or rightly) characterized by the type of people that drive them, we know that our customers have the power to give us a bad name…or a great one. We want to ensure that we never become disconnected from the communities in which our products are being used, and realise the need for endorsed shooters who can represent us within those communities. Our Pro Staff Program is a new initiative which will allow us to support shooters from various fields of expertise across the board, whether it be precision rifle shooting, hunting & varminting or online media and in doing so, set an example of what we stand for as a company. Why a Pro Staff Program? We have always seen the need to support shooters - it is mutually beneficial in many ways. For one, we need honest feedback on the strengths & weaknesses of our products and services and feel that transparency is important. If we don’t listen to input from outside our core management, we have blind spots and can make stupid mistakes. This is particularly important when testing new, unreleased products that we can’t just hand out to random people. Furthermore, it is highly beneficial for us to have trustworthy, professional shooters representing us in their various fields, in essence being the face of Element Optics to those who can’t speak to us directly. As you can imagine, there is a need for a structured approach to this as we first need to determine who is able & willing to represent our brand before we can endorse them. The same would apply to any sponsorship for any brand. If our sponsored shooters portray bad sportsmanship or act in a way that is contrary to the way we would act in the same situation, they are not truly representing us. Up until now, we have already been sponsoring various shooters from all over the world, and we feel this has benefitted both parties profoundly. Some of our sponsored shooters could not afford decent riflescopes prior to our input and have been able to improve their performance thanks to our support. Others have simply benefitted from the exposure our social media channels have given them. However, with more and more people asking for support & sponsorship, and a clearer picture of what our marketing budget will be moving forward, we feel the time has come for a more ‘official’ Pro Staff program, where new sponsorships can be added and recognition can be given on a dedicated page. How many Pro Staff members will be taken on? Right now, we will start by formally adding some of the sponsored shooters that we have already been supporting. As Element Optics grows, so will our budget, and we will begin to add some of the applicants that we feel are the best fit for our program. You may have to be patient, even if your application is flawless - We can only support so many shooters at a time, and may only be able to take on new members slowly over the next few months. What’s in it for you? We have a monthly budget for our Pro Staff, and aim to use it to support them in a way that is mutually beneficial for both parties. This may vary depending on your role within the team, but will include some or all of the following: • Product support, including riflescopes for use in competitions/hunts, new products for reviews & testing, and collaboration on competitions & giveaways. • Care packages of t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, accessories, etc. • Sponsored entry into shooting competitions. • Sharing of your content on our social media platforms (will benefit your growth & influence) • Sponsored hunting/varminting trips for influential channels & media outlets. • Early access to new products, including prototypes that are not available to the public yet. • Profile & Bio on our Pro Staff web page. What do we expect from our Pro Staff? Our Pro Staff is an extension of Element Optics, and need to be able & willing to represent us well within their respective spheres of influence. Pro Staffers should be able to do some or all of the following: • Represent Element Optics at events (trade shows) & competitions. • Create social media content for Element Optics. This could be for your own accounts, or ours, or both. • Provide honest feedback on current and new products. • Refer people to our website, and local dealers. • Use and enjoy our products regularly! Who can apply? Anyone! Applications are open to everybody regardless of gender, age, color, culture or creed, and every month we go through all new applications to select a handful of new members. Of course, it is important to note that even if your application is fitting for the program, we may not be able to accept you immediately due to budget limitations - however once you have applied, you can have peace of mind knowing that you are on our radar and will be considered as soon as we have the capacity to grow. How can you apply? Applications are open NOW through our Pro Staff page, and new members will be added starting from the end of May 2020. This is new for us, so there may be some hiccups along the way - But we’re confident that we’re moving in the right direction with a more structured approach to our sponsorship initiatives, and hope that we can add value & benefit to shooting communities around the world as we begin to focus outwards!
