The modern school teaches via the Internet: Why study online

The coronavirus pandemic has fully opened up a topic that education can no longer avoid: online learning. What are the benefits? Study online in a modern way The coronavirus pandemic has brought about the now commonplace concept of working from home in many companies. Similarly, teaching in all types of schools, from primary to higher education, has moved into the online world. Yet this is not a recent innovation. Some institutions already organise teaching in this mode as a matter of course. And it is a proven concept that brings a number of advantages. Both for the educational institution itself and for its students.Online learning can be flexibly adapted to location and time. To a certain extent, this allows for individualisation and adaptation to the student's individual pace. At the same time, from the point of view of the school itself, it saves some of the overheads associated with the need to operate physical premises. If we look at the situation from the perspective of the pupil or student himself, then we can evaluate the learning implemented thanks to modern technologies in a similar way: The absence of travel costs does not only reduce the economic burden, but also the ecological one. There is simply no transport that has to be used regularly. Nature will thank you, and so will your psyche, which won't have to struggle with unproductive minutes spent on the road. How to study in the 21st century At the European Training Academy in particular, students are only required to be present in person for qualifications or retraining at the time of the final examinations. All preparation takes place online and study is on an individual plan. As a result, it is designed for students who welcome a high level of personal motivation and engagement in the learning experience. So-called e-learning is often much more attractive to students than traditional forms of learning, as it includes interactive elements such as tests, quizzes and games. However, it still carries the same weight. Even in the online form, the school is obliged to comply with a standard legal framework for the operation of its activities, which is no different from traditional "brick-and-mortar" educational institutions.
