The Youth Council (YC) platform connects children- and youth organizations, self-governing student councils, youth leaders, youth workers, youth researchers and other professionals in the field of youth work in the Bratislava Region. As such, YC represents and advocates for their common interests and rights, especially youth participation on public- and youth policies and access to financing. YC provides advisory, guidance and research services for youth work stakeholders. Youth issues YC advances are non-formal education, volunteering, youth- and social entrepreneurship, youth unemployment, creativity, health, well-being and inclusion, European-, global- and digital citizenship, future of work.Among individuals YC identifies and brings up youth leaders and young active citizens. By virtue of the Capital City of the Slovak Republic, initiatives and projects undertaken by YC are often nation-wide in scope.
